Health care workers are among those that are most burdened and strained from the pandemic. They are the heroes who sacrifice themselves, working tirelessly on the frontline to in hopes, defeat the virus.The painting “Hospital Corner” displays mainly my take on the sacrifice of frontline health care workers. I think one of the biggest sacrifices they surrender is their families and loved ones. In my painting, the worker, tired and drained, takes a break in the corner of the hospital room. The mere outline of his loved ones holding him in the corner signifies all he is sacrificing in order to be in the hospital room and take care of others.
